I am a person who gets lost very easily.I could get lost in a one town road, which I practically did so I decided to purchase myself a GPS. I purchased the Nuvi for my Pt Cruiser.I was thinking I wanted something small, something portable and something easy to use.Well Nuvi is all three plus more.It is so easy to set up and display things and very easy to use. The voice on this thing does sound like a computer.I am able to take it off of my dash and stash it under my car seat in a carrying case when I'm not using it.

I also have a lead foot.So having this helps me because of the display of the posted speed limit right above the speed that you are driving. The points of interest tell you where gas stations are, and you can find different eateries that goes by type of fare.It also has detour features in case of road closure or something like that. It also helps you get back onto coarse and recalculates your position if you miss a turn.

I have one of those friends that told me to try this new store and she couldn't remember the name of the store but she said its of off main street. This wide screen helped me out, with this problem as we were cruising down main street I could read the names of the streets that were coming up off the screen.

I bought the package here is all that came with it.

*2mounting brackets

* 2power cables that plug into you're car

*rechargeable battery, with a DC adapter

*cloth carrying case

* owner's manual.

*suction cup mount

The only thing wrong with it, that I had to buy extra was the USB cable to hook it up to the home computer
