For our honeymoon, my hubby and I knew that we wanted to go somewhere TROPICAL...somewhere where we could lay on the beach with a drink with a little umbrella in it. After much debating, we decided to go to Aruba. We then decided to stay at the Divi Aruba Beach Resort. We picked an all inclusive package, as that was the best thing to do financially. We arrived in Paradise and it was wonderful that the resort had a nice shuttle that picked us up at the airport. We arrived at the resort and it was more beautiful than we thought it would be. The resort staff was very friendly and the resort was very well cleaned. The landscaping was gorgeous and very well maintained. The resort was literally steps away from the beach. You could smell the sea air in our room. The room was small, but neat and clean. The housekeeping staff was very good at keeping our room nice and neat. The resort offered many activities, some of which we participated in. A lot of the activities are geared towards honeymooning couples it seems. But then again, I really didn't look into many other activities. They have different things you can rent (ie: banana boats) to go in the water with. The resort is a short bus ride into one of the major cities in Aruba. What was also nice about this resort is right down the road there is a casino that you can just walk to. This resort is a nice place to relax at and just enjoy each other. My hubby and I give this resort 4 thumbs up!
