Reviewing: Tour Package Memphis, Tennessee
Purchased at: Elvis Presley Enterprises     Price: $34.00 USD

I have always been a huge Elvis Presley fan for as long as I can remember! I have lived in the Nashville area of Tennessee most of my life and visited Graceland once years ago when I was a sdmall child, and recently for my birthday my wonderful husband took me to Tunica and surprised me on our last day by stopping in Memphis to see Graceland.

You have an option of three packages, we chose the middle package(Platinum) which was only $34.00. Another package (Basic) was only $30.00 and the premium, or what the called the Entourage VIP Tour was $69.00 for adult tickets.

ThePlatinum tour was a wonderful deal for us! It starts out across the street from Graceland, each person is given a head set that gives you information through out the tour, which by the way is self guided and I loved that, you could take as much, or as little time as you want.

You get to go on the main floor of the mansion, no one is allowed upstairs, which is where his room is and people do still live there. You also get to tour Vernon's office behind the mansion, along the way you pass the actual swing set Lisa Marie played on as a child, you also get to tour both of his planes. Did you know that the seat belts on his jet are 14K gold? I didn't! Just a little F.Y.I.

You have several meal options along the tour, as I said it is self guided so you can make rest room stops or snack stops if you wish, and speaking of the gift shops, they have atleast 4 shops that I seen and they all have really good prices. Needless to say I have some really cool new Elvis items, including my leather wallet that I carry and love!

You basically get to see it all on the middle tour package, from his gold and platinum albums, tons of pictures, his cars, motorcycles and other "toys". His stage wear, army uniforms, wedding clothes and more are on exhibit. This is an Elvis Presley fans dream come true, and my husband who was not much of a fan before really enjoyed this.

You can stay at The Heart Break Hotel, right across from Graceland if you wish, but I have to tell you, this is not in the most desireable part of town so I advise looking into different sleeping arrangements, we always stay near Riverfront when in Memphis.

** I will post pictures as soon as I can, for some reason I cannot at this time**

I was more than surprised when we were in Memphis and drove up to take the tour of Graceland. I expected some wide open area with this huge mansion set into the background!!
