If you are looking for a safe and reliable high chair then you may want to take a look t Graco's Family Tree high chair. I purchased one of these high chairs for my son and it was wonderful to work with.
What of the best aspects of this high chair is how easy it is to remove the tray. As most mothers know sometimes you only have one hand available for any given task. This high chair not only comes with the traditional side claps to attach the tray to the chair but also with a handle in the front for easy tray removal. You just grab a hold of the handle and pull and the tray will detach from the chair. Don't worry this chair comes with a seatbelt so your child will not be able to jump out of the chair as soon as you remove the tray.
The tray also comes with a drink holder for a bottle or sippy cup and a smaller compartment under the tray which slides out. You can rest a baby food jar in this little compartment. The compartment is set up so that your child will not be able to reach it no matter how hard they might try.
The chair also comes with wheels so that you can easily move the chair wherever you like rather than having to drag it around. You can also adjust the height of the seat. The tray is easy to clean and while the instructions say that the fabric covering is only to be wipes down with a damp cloth, I through the entire thing in the washer and dryer and it came out fine.
I really loved this chair and the only reason we no longer uses it is because my son has outgrown it!
