Graco Lovin Hug Swing By dmk417 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Graco Lovin Hug Swing is one of the lowest-prices swings a parent can find. This, of course, means that it comes with fewer options. However, if you are in the market for a nice-looking, simple to use swing that soothes a baby, this is a great deal. This product is easy to put together, and has a big, cozy chair that really does hug your little one. It has several different speed settings, and offers music as well. I used it for several months and only had to change the batteries one time. The guidelines say it goes up to 30 pounds, but in my experience, as the child gets bigger, the speed gets slower. However, most children are no longer interested in being buckled to a swing once they are mobile, so I would imagine there is very little need to use it up to 30 pounds. This swing makes a parent feel good about putting their baby in it, as the securing harness is pretty involved. Before you get really good at it, your child may fuss while waiting to be buckled up. The swinging motion is a little loud, and the mobile is a little bit plain, but my child loved to watch the teddy bears dance around. Overall, I would recommend this product to someone looking for a simple swing.
