Graco square playard
By Tina Lehman onI received the Graco square playard from a friend after my second baby was born.It is an older model, but it still works really well.We used it in our living room to give my youngest a 'safe' place to play, away from his older sister.
PROS
This playard is very durable. Our little dozer has plowed has fallen onto the mesh sides of this playard time after time without incident. The bottom is padded so when they fall it is cushioned. The rails are also padded. It is very sturdy, and would be very difficult to make collapse accidentally.
It is folded fairly easily into a relatively small size. All the padding is covered with vinyl, so it is very easily cleaned and disinfected.
CONS
This playard is not very portable, although it was not made to be portable.
Overall, if you are looking for something to set up in your house as a place to put your baby while you are cooking dinner or showering, this is a great bet.It is roomy enough so that baby can crawl and play and you can be assured that they will be safe left in there unsupervised for limited periods of time.

I love the fact that this is a sturdy portable playyard...even though it isn't all that portable. But seriously what playyard is really portable?
I like the sounds of it being easily cleanable...that's key with kids! Great idea to keep him safe from older sister as well.
Sounds like it is a decent play pen even though it is not very portable. Just the fact that it lasted for your friend and now is being used by you, shows it's built well.
We had the Graco Playard for all 3 of our children. I loved the cushioned bottom, which we further padded with a fluffy baby comforter. It gave us a much treasured few moments to just be without worrying about what baby was up to.
I actually bought an older square playpen for my grandson when he was born two years ago. It worked out much better than these newer ones which have very little space to move about and play in. It was an older version but new in box.
What a cute picture! I love how you said "my little dozer" heehee! Sounds like a nice play yard for a rough and tumbley toddler.
Its hard to find any playpen that is portable. Mine is a big mess lol. This one sounds really nice. I think its best to just keep them up somewhere so you don't have to mess with moving the playpens around anyway. Its just too much trouble.
