Grand Continental Kuching

Grand Continental is located not too far away from the city centre of Kuching, Sarawak (Borneo), in Malaysia.

I was there for vacation on New Year's Eve and needed a room but all the hotels are fully booked and I got a room at Grand Continental. I must say I was impressed.

The rate was pretty reasonable and the room is big! It has a double bed and has some extra space for a sofa and table.

It also has a glass window, thus you can enjoy the stunning night view of Kuching. It is pretty well maintained too, and I found that the staff are really friendly and helpful. If you have any complaints, they'll try their very best to help you.

The toilet is not as big as other hotels I have stayed in but I totally have no complaints because I don't spend much time in the toilet anyway.

They also serve really good food at their restaurant, and right next to it, there's a coffee shop which is quite a popular spot for breakfast apparently.

The hotel also have a swimming pool, sauna and a fitness centre which I did not use.
