Grand Theft Auto 4
By Steph Dobson onOkay, the gta series is known for both it's violent gangs, fast cars, blood and it's poor graphics. Grand Theft Auto 4 has more of what we love and less of what we don't.
It tells the story of Niko Belic, a Serbian, who has come over to America to get revenge on a man who betrayed him and his comrades during the war. He lives with his cousin Roman Belic who provides much of the games humour.
Whilst the missions of more of the same, but still equally enjoyable, gta 4 offers more than that. The plot is good as with the other games and the graphics are a huge, fantastic step up but also this game fully emerses you. You are in liberty city, you are Niko Belic, you are driving the car and you are walking the streets. Every street is different, the car driving simulation is different every time and there are multiple diologues for missions and phone calls. Not only are the graphics hugely improved but the controls are simple and fluid. It's easy to use and you're thrown into some great emersive gunfights.
Gta 4 lacks some of the old favourite features such as going to the gym or getting a hair cut (gta San Andreas) and there are many gripes about this on fan websites. The game still retains the brilliant radio system, the option to buy clothes and the girlfriends and friends dates. You can look past the games tiny faults easily. You can see that what you have in your hand is a truely awesome game! :)

My brother went crazy with this game one time that he broke my computer...
