Grandma on the roof...

OMG! ok...so I fly to California, sort thru thousands of letters, photo's, etc. load precious cargo, including my newly widowed mother-in-law, 3 cats, one dog, vehicle and all our memories to move from a life in California to Colorful Colorado.

Wonderful Customer service boys in Long Beach regret to inform us that the 16' brand new budget truck has two bucket seats. ummmm. Come back later and we'll secure a three seater.

1165 miles from Long Beach, CA to Colo. City, CO. I sat with my knees to my chin; as the "three seater had a jump seat that folded down and designers forgotto included legroom, as they had a lovely drink holder that took up the area normally reserved for feets. To this day, I walk a little goofy and bow legged.

Goood news...very clean, very reasonable, verywilling to negotiate when bow-legged mad women approaches office. Fairly good mileage and way under competition as far as prices. Gave us an extra day to unload and unwind. I would recommend to a couple who already gets along in tight spaces.

Next time I will ride with Granny (Bev Hillbillies) on the roof.
