Do you have a pet that seems to scratch and scratch and scratch? this pets seems to want to scratch in the same spot always cause bleeding or red spots. Well, I think I have the perfect remedy for you. It is called Grannick's Bitter Apple Taste Deterrent.

It was invented by a Pharmacist back in 1960. According to the history of this product, a dog fancier brought their dog into Grannick's Pharmacy and said that her dog would become nervous before every show and start chewing and licking his coat. She asked the pharmacist if there was anything that she could do to help stop it. At the time, there wasn't a product that would so Irv Grannick tried different bitter flavorings until he came up with something that work. After a while word spread of and he was asked to manufacturer the product. He first worked out of his kitchen until it got too big for him.

This product really does work. My cat has a tendency to get nervous when she knows we will be leaving. She tends to get nervous and starting chewing on herself so I used this a few days before. She hates the taste so she doesn't chew.

This product used to be only for dogs but over the years they have it for cats, dogs, ferrets, birds, horses, and all other furry animals.
