Grant's Farm In St. Louis, Mo By kristyh on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Grant's Farm in St. Louis, Missouri is a really neat place. I think it was started by Ulysses S. Grant and is now run by the Anheuser-Busch, Inc. I have very fond memories of going there when I was a child and I was equally excited when I took my children there. They have lots of animals, some of which you can pet hands on. Me and my family loved feeding the baby goats. My picture shows my kids feeding them through the fence but you can actually go in an pet/feed them. The baby goats though do get excited. We watched an exotic bird show. We also seen some of the famous Busch Clydesdales. We rode in a tram that took us on a tour of the park. This is like a zoo only on a smaller scale. In addition to the many animals they have a lot of historic things to see. They have a seperate area away from the animals where you can eat. They also offer complimentary Anheuser-Busch products. They have gift shops. The park hours change with the seasons so you will have to contact them for the correct day and hours. While the food, gift shop items, and bottles for the goats were kind of pricey it was well worth it. The parking is $10, but entrance to the park is free. I can not wait to go back again!!
