I am working hard to be and environmentally friendly momma and switching over my harsher chlorine filled chemical cleaners to more natural safer family friendly biodegradable cleaners. The problem I have been having is that they are so darn expensive.
In comes my great find at Target. They had 26 ounce Method Cleaners for a mere 3.19. amazing I know, just twenty cents more then your standard all purpose spray and a grapefruit scent, well that is some much better then the smell of bleach.
I got the bottle home and immediately tried it out in my bathroom. It cleaned the mirrors like a champ and left then streak free. The scent was pleasant and I felt like my family could walk in and not be inhaling any crazy chemicals.
I moved on to the sink and was again pleased. The sink and the knobs came clean with a normal level of scrubbing. I should mention that I have a cat that only drinks water out of the faucets so we get some pretty gross foot prints on our white sink which method knocked out like a champ.
Next thing to tackle, the bathtub. My daughter has taken to playing in sand so the tub needed a little love to get it good and clean. This is the one area that Method didn't sparkle. It cleaned, but left some soap scum. I know it is an all purpose product but an area that needs heavy scrubbing needs a heavier cleaning product (guess I will have to try Le scrub bathroom cleaner).
Overall I found the scent pleasant and was proud to be cleaning my bathroom with such an environmentally friendly product. This is a must buy if you can find it at this price!

I have been using the Chlorox Green Works, but this Method sounds really nice too! Plus I like the idea of the Grapefruit scent. Is it an essential oil scent?
I love this product. We use the one that's unscented. I use it on my floors too. It works great.
I wondered about Method products. Thanks for the info, now I'll know what to expect.

I haven't seen this one. I'll have to look for it.
I'm just starting to hear more about the greener products. I will have to try this one since everytime I use the traditional cleaners my hubby complains about the smells!
