The Microplane foot file is like a cheese grater with a handle for your feet! I have such a problem with crusty, ashy feet that I was willing to try anything to remedy it. I have seen this foot file demonstrated a lot on QVC so decided that I would try it as well. The kit comes with the foot file, another blade for the file and a foot cream that smells like Dreamsicles. At first, I could not remove the protective covering to the file and it is still hard for me to remove it at times but it is for my own safety!! I used the file on my heel and could not believe the "shavings" that came off of just one heel! I filed the other heel as well and got just as many shavings from that too! The blade is a little difficult to remove but the more I use it, the easier it is. It is so fulfilling to see all the shavings go in the trash can!! I used the Dreamsicle foot cream afterwards and it smells so dreamy! My only word of caution is that one can tend to over file heels because it does not hurt at all when you do file...I over filed a little bit and my heels are tender but it was well worth it!!
