Great As A Phone, Not Much Else By pkelz on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have had the Motorola Z6tv from Verizon Wireless for about a year now. It has been a great phone in itself, but if you are looking for a phone that's loaded down with cool extra features, look elsewhere. I have had Motorola phones forever and never had a complaint. They are reliable, get good reception, and are designed on the cutting edge. This phone sports a cool black finish that attracts attention and looks great. It slides open, which in my view is cool for a phone. I have noticed that this phone is pretty durable, as I have dropped on hard floors a few times and it has come up with only a few scratches. It is a glass screen, and has a tiny crack in the upper left corner which is hardly noticeable. My previous phone, a cheap Samsung, had its screen ruined by only a few drops. This phone has the regular phone keyboard which is not much to speak of, and uses Verizon's iTap feature for texting. I prefer full keyboard phones, but this keyboard, with a little practice, allows you to text pretty fast. The TV feature on this phone is nice, and it gets TV signal in many places. However, to watch all of Verizon's channels you have to pay a monthly fee. There is a preview channel that shows live TV that is free, but it alternates channels every 30 minutes. I have found this to be a great time killer. Last, the camera on this phone is 2 megapixels, which is decent, but hardly enough to take good quality pictures. Overall, this is a good phone for someone who wants a stylish phone that has some cool extra features.

Motorola's are ok, they tend to break easy though.
