My wonderful digital camera has but one flaw- it eats through batteries. I am not joking. You can not use cheap dollar store batteries. I have tried some brand new out of the package batteries that would not even turn my camera on, or only last long enough to take one picture. I use my digital camera alot. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to take a picture and having the camera shut off because the batteries are dead. My husband gave me these Kodak Digital Camera batteries about two weeks ago as an early Christmas gift. I do not know how much they were but he said they were pretty expensive for batteries. They are also rechargeable, but you have to buy the charger separately. I have taken approx. 50 pictures and so far these batteries have held up. The only downside is the price. Although if you think about how much you spend buying semi descent batteries and having to replace them, that turns out to be pricier in the long run. You definitely get your moneys worth off of these batteries because they are rechargeable. These batteries are great for the simple fact they are made stronger for digital cameras. I say quit buying batteries over and over and invest your money in these.

Your husband is absolutely right. I bought a docking station for my Kodak (well about three Kodak's ago) and it does the battery charging and connects to the computer all at once. Better investment. Look at the mAh (milliamp hours) rating on the battery when you buy rechargable batteries. That is relative to the amount of pictures you get per charge. You can also use a viewfinder rather than the image screeen on the camera to conserve battery life. Happy picture taking!
