Great For Dry, Peely Skin By ZaniousMelanious on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have very dry, peely skin in the dead of winter, so I'm always on the hunt for a cleanser that does not have a lot of fancy schmancy chemicals in it and will not dry out my skin. My mom has always used Cetaphil cleanser, but I've always overlooked it for other things. One day, it was the only thing available for me to wash my face with, so I gave it a whirl. It lathers up nicely, and has a plesant, clean aroma. It does wonders at getting off my makeup (with the exception of the eye area, it does take a LITTLE too much scrubbing for my liking), and leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth. I can see why this is my mother's cleanser of choice and I will definitely continue using it. It does have a steep price tag for the size of the bottle, but Harmon's and CVS both have the store brand versions of this cleanser.
