Great For First Time Kitty Owners By RachelReviews on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is the second book I received when I first adopted my cat. She is the first and only cat I've ever owned. Due to that, I knew that there was going to be a steep learning curve. I've owned dogs all my life, and I knew that owning a cat would be a whole new experience.

I'm glad I had this reference while Harriet was growing up. I don't take it off the bookshelf much nowadays since she is 4 years old. I think by now I understand my girl and why she does what does (Pretty much).

This book answers many of the questions that we, humans, find mysterious. Some of the answers include: chattering, making biscuits (Kneading with their paws), scratching furniture, landing on their feet, purring and many more. There are 20 answers in total. I like the illustrations in here. They are done by Keith Robinson. My favorite one is Picture 6 in my gallery. It is of a cat looking lovingly at its' owner with little hearts by its' face. So cute!

This little book is softcover. It is 64 pages long. The cost printed on the back is $6.95.
