Great Hand Eye Coordination Elefun By nicolemm on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My father purchased Elefun for my daughter and at first I thought, oh great this elephant is going to spray flowers all over my house, what a mess! My first impression was not only wrong, I have grown to really like this game.

The game comes with four nets for catching the flowers and a blue elephant that needs four "c" batteries to run. There is a small fan inside the elephant that is completely unaccesable to the kids, for safety reasons. The nets are made of netting and plastic and have yet to harm anyone, I pictured the kids hitting each other over the head with them. And when the elephant is running there is very little noise.

This game is recommended for ages 3-6, however, my two and a half year old has no problem playing it with his older sister. I can definately see there hand and eye coordination improving the more they play it. In the beginning they would catch one or two flowers each, now barely any hit the floor!

The only negative side to this toy is that it uses batteries quickly. Two weeks later, they have already been changed once. It is played just about everyday, however, only for about 10 or so minutes.

This sounds so cute! Glad it didn't turn out to be one of those gifts that you have to hide from the kids! LOL!
