This is my second 4 in 1 printer from cannon, the first one i bought I donated it, because it didn't have a scanner but it worked great, thats why I stuck with the cannon brand when I was looking for a four in one printer. The resolution on the pictures is great depending on the type of paper you are using. Great for household use or small office, but I would recommend for everyday use or huge amount of copies. If you are in the need for a copier, fax, printer and or scanner, this is definately what you want to purchase and instead of spending over 150 dollars you pay less than 100.00. I have printed pictures, invitations, essays and the contrast is great. My daughter just loves it when she has a party and we take pictures and before all her guests leave we already printed keepsake wallet pictures for her fiends to take home as souvineers. I definately recommend it. If i ever need another printer I will certaintly buy another cannon.
