Great Running Shoes! By R Benjamin on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I got into Cross Country Running about a year ago, and since then had needed new shoes - previously I'd been running in my tennis shoes. I went to R & J (great store by the way!) and they checked how I run, the way my feet hit the ground etc. and suggested these shoes since I didn't want to spend much and they were half off. They usually would have cost $120 but I got them for half-price. Not bad!
When I got back home I tried them on right away. I loved them! They fit very comfortably and made me feel like walking on a cloud compared to my old shoes! Later, when I tried running with them, they helped me cut my time a couple minutes and my feet didn't hurt at all like they did sometimes with my old shoes. They have very good arch support and are bouncy enought to keep your leg from jolting if you hit hard ground.
The quality of the shoes are very good - every piece of cloth they used is premium strength and hold together well. In fact, after using the shoes for several months, I put them in the wash (yes, it doesn't damage them - just don't put them in your dryer, they'll shrink!) and when they dryed, they looked as good as new! Remember, the day before I was running using them in drenching rain through mudpuddles that literally came up to my knees in some places!!
Anyway, I absolutely love these shoes and couldn't ask for better. I fully recommend these shoes to anyone who needs extra heel support and goes running.

Nice. I need some of these. I'll have to look for them. Thanks for the information!
Cool! Yep these are very good shoes for XC. Just did 3 miles and loving the shoes.
