Great Sound But Uncomfortable By R Benjamin on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought a pair of these headphones at Micocenter, my local electronics store. I'm into writing music via DAW and needed better headphones with good bass and nice overall sound, so when a employee recommened them to me, I jumped at the chance. I was pleasantly surprised.

For $15, these headphones sure pack good sound quality! I tested them at first with my ipod (check out the review, by the way!) and the bass sounded great, especially on rock songs with a heavy kick drum beat. The high end of the headphones (hi-hats, sopranos, etc.) also sounded very good and I was equally impressed with the mid-range. However, after I used them for awhile I realized that they are slightly uncomfortable to use for a long period of time. The discomfort was minimal and was easy to ignore, however, and I quickly got over it.When I got back home and tried them on my laptop (over time, I used them on 3 different Operating Systems and 4 different media players!!) and the sound quality was just as good if not better.

I can fully recommend these headphones to anyone who wants great quality sound and no giant price tag. They can get a tiny bit uncomfortable if you wear them for a extensive period of time, but it is easy to get used to and is definately worth it.
