Great Speeches: Abraham Lincoln
By Jenn Huffer onI work for a school corporation and every fall we have two days off for Fall Break. On one Fall Break I decided to go visit Springfield, ILL and the home of Abraham Lincoln. On my last day in Springfield I went looking throught he gift shop at Lincoln's Home and I found this book. It was only $2.00 and it contains most of Mr. Lincoln's famous speeches. A book I just had to have. Lincoln was a very intelegent man for being mostly "self" taught and it shows through his writings and speeches. In reading these speeches it gave me a more clear look into what Mr. Lincoln had invisioned for The United States during his presidencial time.
