Green Bags keep my veggies Fresh
By Debbie831 onI am single and my one complaint is buying food and trying to keep it fresh until I can finish it all. I love banana's but can't eat all them before they turn brown and soft, so I end up throwing them out.
My mom the other day gave me one of her Debbie Meyer green bags to try. I was pretty sure it was going to work because mom doesn't buy anything that she doesn't think will work. I was right. My banana's lasted over a week so I was able to enjoy them.
They are resuable so I went out and bought lettuce and tried it in the same bag. My lettuce is still in my frig looking like I just bought it yesterday.
With the cost of food these days, this is a great investment. I have now gone to the website and ordered my own. The website is: www.greenbags.com.You get 20 bags for $9.95 and each bag is resuable up to five times. Can't tell you if that is true yet, I am only on my second time, but will let you know.
The only complaint I can see is I wished they had a zip seal or something. There is nothing to seal the bag so I just use a tie wrap and it seems to be working. It really does do what it says, it keeps the gas out (LOL).

I've often wanted to try these out too, my banana's always spoil before I can eat them too and I only get like 3-4 at a time; I've seen these in Walmart and in the Dollar General STores too if anyone is interested in them, also Walgreen's I think? I just never have any extra money to try them out;
I wanted to try these Green BAgs, but didn't know if they really worked- The next time I go to the grocery store I am picking up some of these!
