Green Beret is a game where you play alone or cooperatively and try to infiltrate the enemy base. On the way you could pick up guns or rocket launchers and blow the heck off the opponent but most of the time you only have your standard issue military army knife to save you. I found the game quite intriguing as the game captures the essence of the military. With the backgrounds made to look like an army base. Opponents here range from attack dogs to soldiers on jetpacks. The only thing though is that once you get hit you are gone so this game reminds me of Contra in a sense. Well it figures. Konami also made this.

I am happy with the concept of the game. I recommend that you avail of the two player cooperative mode because enemies at times come in droves from all directions. You would get swarmed easily by this onslaught. The game has a very simple concept and yet was fun. sometimes it isn't the graphics or sounds that make the game. It is the game itself.
