let tell you first what i don't like about this guitar,

1. the body is not an exact copy of a telecaster body, it has this awkward look,

2. they don't have other color available, its only available in sunburst,

3. the most hated part is the neck is made from two piece of solid wood, you can see the joining line third of neck length from the body. Really sucks.

what i like about is the wood, string thru body construction, rosewood fret board, the neck profile and the stock pickups, it produces a warm jazzy tone on neck pick up and a spanking bright tone on bridge pickup as a telecaster would produce, they do sound nice for its price. I think the angled headstock profile add something to it for sustain.

the guitar has an odd look to it, you will buy this for the functions, its a good entry level guitar, and for modification practice specimen. but i would not recommend it better to save up and buy the a peavey or something if your not into exact telecaster look and go for the functions.

I am planning to upgrade the neck pickup to single coil sized humbucker for a humbucker tone.
