i bought this game under the recommendation of a friend. I had never heard of it before. I bought one two years ago and we played it so much that it was time to buy a new one since the game board was in need of repair. The winner of the game is the one that can guess who the other player has chosen as his "hide and seeker" before the other player. Each player has a plastic foldable gameboard something like the battleship games. On these gameboards are pictures of males and females with varying acessories. The goal is to guess which person your opponent has selected as his person. You do this be eliminating everyone else on the board. You ask questions such as does your person have a hat? If they say no you put everyone down that doesn't have a hat. Leaving everyone else facing up and then you take turns asking questions until only one is left standing and you figure out who it is first. It is a fun game. I think that six years old can be a little young to figure this game out. They may get frustrated. I found that the second game that we bought was not very durable at all. The picutres of the people were made with a very thin cardboard. They bend very easily and they will fall out of place constantly. I do love this game but they should make it more durable. This is one of those games that can be fun for adults to play with kids also. I do receommend buying it.
