Guitar Hero 3 By Secretsides By Secretsides on - Updated Sep 26, 2011

My son like every other kid in America had to have Guitar Hero 3 for Christmas. The horrifiying part was there were none available. After almost 3 weeks a friend stood in line at Walmart, hearing there was a select number to be in the store, for over 2 hours. He was able to get one for my son, who was out of town for the weekend.

Guitar Hero 3 is different than Guitar Hero 1 and 2 only in that it has different song selections. The graphics are amazing and kids all love it. It teaches you how to play it, if you have never played it before. You can move up levels until you are a pro. Although I am not crazy about some of the characters on the game the kids learn to use their fine motor skills and even may desire to learn to play a real musical instrument.

I also "had to have" this game for Christmas, and I loved it. Also, it did in some way encourage my guitar playing. Many of the first songs I tried to learn were songs from Guitar Hero :P
