For the third installment of guitar hero, Activision stepped it up and came through. Adding boss battles to it, with real guitarists such as Tom Morello and Slash, and getting more real master tracks of songs, this game is a definate step forward. The wireless les paul controller has its ups and downs. The buttons are stiffer and the batteries run though it pretty quick. The bonus songs on the game are lacking compared to the last game though. But that is a matter of opinion. The downloadable songs are a great plus though. Song packs and free songs too such as the Halo theme. Anyone that has wanted to play this game and hasn't yet really should try it out. Warning though, it may cause instant addiction.
