Guitar Hero Encore: Rock The 80's On Ps2 By schimj on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Guitar Hero Encore: Rock the 80's is the third game in the Guitar Hero franchise. It features many songs from the 80's including such artists as Oingo Boingo, The Vapors, and many others. The gameplay is the same as all the other Guitar Hero games, where one depresses color coded fret buttons to sync up with the blips shown on the TV. My main complaint about this game is that all of the menues were exactly the same as Guitar Hero 2, as were the venues and everything else outside of the songs. The songs were even not that great, when there were so many great "hair metal" classics to chose from. The game, to me, felt more like an expansion pack to the second game in the franchise. I still enjoyed the game, but I feel the could have done better.
