Guitar Hero is the first game of the now successful franchise in which the player of the video game is transformed into a rock star. On the controller, which is guitar shaped, there are 5 buttons on the neck that each of a different color on them that corosponds with dots on the television screen. While playing the game, many different songs from the past and present, including such artists as Black Sabbath, Franz Ferdinand and many others, in the form of blips on the screen that you need to strum by depressing the button that is indicated and pushing down on a strum button somewhere near where the strings would be on a guitar. I find the game to be highly entertaining, and has a great list of songs. The game is rated T for teen, due to some mild language, but its no worse than what one would hear on the radio, and all of the "really bad words" are cut out of the songs.
