Guitar Hero II is undoubtable one of the best games on ps2. Just the idea of an interactive guitar playing video game is brilliant even without playing the game. the best thing about guitar hero for me, is that I'm a rock guy so basically all the songs on it are fun an sweet to play. The whole idea of a somewhat guitar career on the game, in which you keep playing and playing untill in the end you've unlocked all songs is pretty cool. Another brilliant thing about career, is that unlike other games where you may not want to play at a higher difficulty, in Guitar Hero you actually do, because you're developing as you go along and it just gets more enjoyable playing at harder ranks. The bad thing about it, is how it is only 4 buttons which sort of defeats the purpose of the game, because although you feel like you're playing guitar you're in turn not going to be any good at guitar in real life. I just wish there were a secondary guitar or something where it has the same structure and formation of a normal guitar and its strings where the game acts as a guitar tutorial or lessons and in turn teaches you to play. Despite this it's an awesome game and everyone should get the 3rd edition when it comes out.
