Guitar Hero III - Legends of Rock

Guitar Hero III - Legends of Rock is a rhythm based video game that can be purchased for Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3 and PC. Although not at all like playing a real guitar, Guitar Hero III - Legends of Rock gives yout he opportunity to simulate guitar playing action. The in the Wii version, the player slips the remote into a plastic guitar frame that has colored buttons on the neck to represent the fret positions. Players "strum" a rocking switch at on the body of guitar while simultaneously holding down the colored fret buttons in reponse to a scrolling musical score. The player gets points for each correct note they hit, but too many misses and "Game Over."

The original game was released without stereo sound and a replacement disc will be issued later in the year 2008. Overall the game is a pretty good buy for the musically inclined or those who wish they where.
