Guns N' Roses Cd Appetite For Destruction By nightwing on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This debut album by the band is full of great songs, great playing, and high energy. In my opinion this is one of the top rock CD's ever produced.

The disc starts off with the classic song and hit single Welcome to the Jungle. It is the perfect song to introduce both the band and the album. Another great rock song here is Paradise City, which was also released as a single. Sweet Child O' Mine was probably the biggest hit off the CD, and this ballad still holds up. At times the song is soft and sweet and by the end it is loud and confrontational. All three songs were big hits on the radio and MTV.

Mr. Brownstone is a fan favorite and a great song, as is My Michelle. There aren't any bad songs here, just a great mix of different rock songs. When this disc was first released it was unlike anything being played on the radio, as glam rock was the rage at the time. The music holds up to this day.
