The Generic Value Products (GVP) ceramic flat iron is absolutely wonderful!! You can not go wrong with this straightener. It works WAY BETTER than a chi or any other straightener, hands down. The temperature maxes out at 410 degrees farenheit, which is well over the temperature needed to straighten any hair type. It is also way less expensive than a chi or the straighteners it is comparable to. It comes in different colours seasonally. Right now on the Sally Beauty Supply website, they are offering one that is pink with cute girly swirls. This ceramic flat iron is GREAT for regluar old straightening, flipping it out, curling and twisting. After using this appliance, it will make your hair visibly smooth and silky, which is definitely a plus in my book! And by far the best thing I have noticed about this straightener is that there is no tugging, catching or pulling while using this product, and EVERY OTHER straightener I use gives me this problem.
