H & R Federal and State Tax Cut

Who LOVES tax time?Certainly not me, my husband, or any friends we know.Life got a little easier when we started using the H&R Tax Cut programs on our computer.This program walks you through anything you might come up with in regards to your taxes (at least for our family, college student and parents) and it double checks everything for any errors.The 2006 program package we purchasedcontained the premium federal which takes care of anything that might apply to 1040EZ to Schedule C, and also included a (1) state program at no addition charge (used to have to buy these separately).For the past 5 years we have purchased and used the H & R program for our yearly tax filing.We always E-file (for which there is a nominal fee) and we have our refunds deposited into our bank within 7-14 days.No more filling our paperwork, waiting weeks/months for the mailman to deliver a refund to the mailbox.I no longer despise this time of year as much as before and highly recommend it to our family and friends.We no longer have to make an appointment and spend time with or pay someone top dollar to do what we can now do ourselves.

Update On Mar 14, 2010: We continue to file our taxes online with H & R Tax Cut and received both our federal and state refunds in one week this year by having the returns deposited directly into our bank account.We had mistakingly left one box unchecked which the program caught and increased our federal return by several hundred dollars.
