Haier TDC1314S 13 TVDVD Combo

I thought this TV was a really good buy.It wasn't that expensive, and it was a TV/DVD combo.I had been looking for this kind of combination television for a while and it seemed to be what I needed.Being a college student, you don't want to have to lug around a bunch of equipment all the time.The DVD player is my favorite part of this.It works great, looks great and is just a really big plus.The downside of this tv?The picture quality is not so great, some of my channels look really fuzzy and the others don't look as crisp as they do on my other TVs.The remote is the worst part of this TV.It doesn't even work!You have to be within 12-18 inches of the receptor for it to turn on from the remote.Once it is on, the remote works fine, but you can't turn it on with the remote, which is odd.All in all, this was an alright tv for the affordable price, but buy your own universal remote if you want to be able to turn it on from your bed.
