Hair Embarassing You?
By Pipper2008 onMy hair being as dark as it is I have always had to wax, tweeze or pluck not only my eyebrows, but my lip and chin as well. Who knew growing up we would be facing embarrassing facial hair?
I received a gift certificate from my family for my birthday for a local spa that offers laser hair removal as well as permanent make up, cellulite reduction and more.
On my first visit after my consultation I was leaned back in a chair, much like a dentist chair and I was gave goggles to wear to protect my eyes. A cream was put on my face after it was cleansed.
I could hear a light snapping sound and a slight sting, this went on for about 30 minutes. Afterwords I noticed a little redness and very little soreness.
I went back for 7 more treatments and now I no longer have to wax, pluck or tweeze and I could not be happier!
I do not know if I would want to do this under my arms or for my bikini area but as far as the face I do recommend it. It is a little pricey, but to me was worth it.
You can look at spending around $2000.00, which is what I ended up paying for the remainder of my treatments, but for at least 2 years without worry it is worth it to me! Some people never have to do it again, some will have to do it every couple of years.
You just have to ask yourself, is the investment worth it to me?
Wow!! This sounds hard core! LOL! I would love to do laser treatments but...it is expensive..maybe I can do it later! LOL! I'm glad you have had such wonderful results with it!

Wish I had the money I would do it in a heartbeat. I remember watching my mother pluck hairs from her chin...now I have become my mother!

That is alot of money, but when you think about not having to do it for years or maybe never again...it's worth it! The things we have to do to look good!

Wow this is a lot of money. I personally don't think I could ever afford it but for the ones that can more power to them! I would love to not have to worry about shaving a little spot on the side of my neck and sometimes my upper lip. I don't have it nearly as bad as some people so I consider myself lucky. Glad to hear you don't have to worry about anything for at least 2 years. That's great!
I'm happy this worked for you. I know several people who were happy with the laser treatments over time.
