I will start my review by saying that Half-Life 2 is one of the best games I have ever played. Right from the start you are made to feel like the main character Gordon. The game does an amazing job of projecting emotions based on music, enviroment, etc. Half-Life 2 manages to have a very cinematic way of story-telling but you are always in control. The game makes you feel like Gordon. Action in Half-Life 2 is great. The run and gun stuff is very fast paced and can be pretty difficult at times. In between action you are faced with a number of puzzles; most of these puzzles are to show of the wonderful physics in the game. The puzzles can be a little tricky at times, but they're a great way to break up the action. By the time you finish the game you wont want it to end; you'll want to learn more about the world and the characters. If your looking for a very imersive experience and one of the best first-person shooters ever, grab Half-Life 2.
