When I first played Half-Life 2 I thought to myself "Oh my gosh." Over hundreds of reviews, Half-Life 2 is considered to be the BEST first person shooter that has ever existed that has a unique storyline and brilliant graphics. However it is most commonly recognized feature, which makes this game stand out from all the rest is - it uses real physics!! (Due to the source engine).
I have had this game for a couple of years now, and I seriously enjoy playing Half-Life 2, it is realistic, interactive and is one of the main reasons why many other first person shooters exist. If you ever play this game, you will feel like are in the game, and time will be lost. Frankly, words cannot describe how damn good Half-Life 2 is. The only downside to this game is that it is M because there are alot of haunting things in this game that may give younger children nightmares. Half-Life 2 has set the new standard for first person shooter games and I definately recommend it to anyone above 15.
