Half Life 2: Episode 2 By Sir Robert Joseph By SirRobertJoseph on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Half Life 2: Episode 2 is an episodic FPS featured as part of "The Orange Box," a software bundle including the original Half Life 2, Episode 1 and Portal, a unique puzzle game using Valve's Source Engine. For those who are accustomed to first person shooters, and have already delved into the Half Life universe, expect twists and turns and ultimately a nonstop thrill ride.

Half Life 2 was a groundbreaking, beautiful game. Episode 1 was a fantastic game, but in many ways left a sour taste in my mouth. It was still in City 17 and wasn't a breath of fresh air. Episode 2, while still very similar with the past two games, is finally hitting a high point in the story. It ends on a note that has you salivating for the final installment in the Half Life 2 series, Episode 3.

With twists and turns and strong voice acting and visuals, there is no reason not to play this game if you have a decent enough system and a love of first person shooters.
