Hallmark Cards: Maxine Madness

If you are looking for some laugh- out -loud funny greeting cards for all occassions then you should really check out Hallmarks's Maxine line. Maxine is an old lady with an attitude and she has something to say about all occassions such as birthdays, aging, co-workers, retirement, politics and even sex.

Since her creation by John Wagner in 1986 Hallmark has reportedly sold over two million Maxine cards. Supposedly, Mr. Wagner fashioned his Maxine character after his mother, aunts and grandmother. She is very crabby in a funny sort of way.

I love funny cards and always try to find the most insulting (and funniest) to send to my sister. I send her Maxine frequently. Maxine has made being crabby an art form. And she will make you laugh too.
