Halloween A Rob Zombie Film By karlawmcdonald on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is yet another film by Rob Zombie. It is a 2007 production and is appropriately rated R, for strong brutal bloody violence, terror throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity and language. It has a run time of 110 minutes. Following in the foot steps of " House of 1000 Corpses" and " The Devils Rejects" he has loaded this movie down with familiar faces to his previous films, including his wife Sherry Moon Zombie, William Forsythe, Daeg Faerch ( the young Michael Meyers), Bill Moseley, Danny Trejo, Sid Haig, and more. I think Rob Zombie has written once again the ultimate slasher classic, showing us the beginnings of Michael Meyers and what twisted his young mind. He and the cast resuscitated one of cinemas most terrifying and gruesome stories. I urge you to not allow children watch this film. It does has a commentary by Rob Zombie, alternate endings, deleted scenes, bloopers and more, I would have to say I enjoyed the bloopers more than the actual film itself. Check out their website halloween-themovie.com for more details. Although it was a film that kept me on the edge of me seat, it is one I would strongly suggest you not allowing younger folks to see, some of the scenes were just that gory.

I really liked this movie...but I am a big fan of the horror genre.

My kids laugh at me but the Exorcist did it for me and I rarely if ever watch horrors :) Tubular Bells? Still hate that song :) This sounds like a movie my kids would love though and will likely grab it to add to their Hallowe'en horror fest! I'm locking myself in my room lol! Thanks for the info
