Halls Mentho-Lyptus Drops

I had tried Halls Mentho-Lyptus Drops when I'd suddenly gotten a bad case of sore throat. I thought I would need some serious medication, but when I saw these drops, packaged like candy, I decided to try them first (who wouldn't chose candy over medicine?...).

The drops were said to relieve cold and sore throat symptoms and suppress cough. There were 30 "candies" in the pack; not bad for under $1. As I popped one in, I noticed the pleasant taste of menthol that seemed to give immediate soothing effect. As the drop slowly dissolved in my mouth, the effect was getting stronger. My throat was not hurting anymore, literally within minutes. It worked so well that I had soon forgotten how bad I felt in the morning. Following the directions, I kept taking a drop every 2 hours, and went through the day just fine. I had never conquered a sore throat this fast and easy before.
