Halo 3 - Halo 3 review

Halo 3 is the next installment to the mega-popular Halo series. So you know where I stand; I enjoyed Halo but was disappointed with Halo 2. I am not particularly a fan of the multiplayer either. A friend and I played through the campaign of Halo 3 on heroic and it took us about 6 hours. I think most of the fun we had came from playing through it together, I probably wouldn't have beat it on the first day if I was playing alone. The game is fun, yet I don't quite enjoy the story. To me it feels like they took the idea of Master Cheif just kicking butt and tacked on a story. The new weapons in Halo 3 are really cool; some of the notable ones are the spartan laser, brute spike gun, and the gravity hammer. Playing through the game with a friend makes the experience a lot more fun. If you enjoyed the other Halo games at all you will love Halo 3.
