Halo 3 Halo 3 Review By Whoahsweet By Whoahsweet on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Halo 3, the most anticipated game for the Xbox 360, has finally been released. It does not disappoint. Eagerly awaited by fans for the last couple of years, the Halo 3 game has delivered. I've played it once through and the story is just as epic as ever, with a few slight twists on old themes. The developers took care to make mature decisions for the storyline so as not to make it seem like yet another copycat of the Hero's Journey.
The game's audio is superb but the visuals leave it a bit lacking. It is not the best the 360 has to offer, as Gears of War does better, but it does utilize a slightly upgraded Halo 2 graphics engine and unlike Halo 2, it runs smoothly and quickly. It runs at a quick 60+ frames per second and never slows down unlike its predecessor. The game has almost no loading screens as well.
If you have a 360, this is the must-own game of the year. It delivers what it promises and wraps up a beautiful story.
