Halo 3 continues the epic tale of alien invasion and the full-out massacre of off-world beings by the near-invulernable Master Chief, some kind of cyborg/human creature that weights two tons or so. Many other aspects have carried over from its predecessors: much of the weaponry is the same (which is kind of a bore), several of the same enemies, and the ridiculous physics associated with the vehicles that the player can operate (Warthog, I'm looking at you). Needless to say, the graphics are SPECTACULAR, especially on a HD TV. The sounds, also, does not fail to disappoint. The plot...well...it's Halo, I never intended to play Halo to experience high-end storytelling and intrigue. I will say this, however, it is way better than the shifty and confusing plot of Gears of War. Very good game, can't wait to play it on XBox Live.
