Halo 3 X Box 360 By Agaetis By agaetis on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Halo 3 could very well be the most hyped up game in the history of the industry, and it shares the same fate that many over hyped games suffer. In short, Halo 3 is a polished version of Halo 2 with more weapons, more (pointless) features, and worse maps. The campaign is better than the second, which was nice, but it didn't last long and there no replay value. The multiplayer is what everybody was waiting for, and unfortunately it doesn't do too well. The maps don't have the same charm they did in the previous installment and the weapons and "extra shield things" don't really add anything good to the game, just make what was once a simple pick-up and play game into a more complicated one. The new rank system is nice, along with getting new armor as you progress, but it can't make up for boring ganeplay. Overall, this game isn't necessarily terrible, just nothing new. I have a hard time justifying spending 60 dollars on a game when it doesn't feel much different/better than Halo 2. It's still the preferred game for LANs though, just because of it's accessibility and simplicity.
