Being a die-hard first-person-shooter fan, I was pleased to find that Halo 3 was not simply another rendition on a theme. Halo 3 certainly brings the FPS fan a new level of play and enjoyment with spectacular integration of the Xbox Live environment. The game search and play functionality is without parallel and quickly and painlessly gets players right to the action without delay. The visuals and detail on Halo 3 outstrip its predecessor (Halo 2) by a mile and a half. With many new play modes and a thrilling "Rocket Race" mode, fans of the genre will definitely be pleased with the degree of effort which was invested into this iteration of franchise. Overall, a definite buy and one which will definitely bring a smiling face this Christmas!
