Hamilton Beach makes slow cookers that last. This slow cooker has been a lifesaver. I have used this cooker for years. It was a wonderful gift which has kept on giving. I have cooked so many meals in this cooker. It has always produced the best food. It is very easy to use and very easy to clean! I have enjoyed it the most when I was very busy. It is really nice to have food cooking while you are doing other things. It reduces my workload and reduces my time in the kitchen. I am really impressed by the years of use. It has been one of the very best gifts, that I have ever received. It is also great when you are not feeling well enough to stand over a stove. I would give it as a gift and I expect many years of use. I like the clear glass top which allows you to see your food without removing the lid. It does not take up that much room and the recipe list is endless. It is also great to have your entire meal in one pot. It reduces clean up time.
