We have had this iron for almost a year and it has given us headache after headache. This was a mid-priced iron, so I expected it to at least do a half way decent job of ironing my clothes. I usually have good luck with products made by Hamilton Beach. Not this one. I have been burned several times by the steam that comes out when you press the steam button and also just whenever it feels like it. I have burned right through polyester garments when I clearly have the dial turned to the polyester setting. Also, it boasts on the package about it's non-stick surface. Wrong again, there is nothing non-stick about it! I would not recommend this iron to anyone. If you care about your clothes then you should spend more money on a better iron.
